Ecopaper was formed in Sydney in the late 1980's to promote the use of recycled paper office products. We were the first company in Australia to market 100% recycled stationery, initially imported from Europe and then manufactured in Australia. Our aim has always been to promote local acceptance of, a market for, and ultimately manufacture of, recycled and sustainable products in Australia. In recent years our focus has shifted to the writing implements and promotions markets in Australia.
"Walking the walk" - at Ecopaper we follow principles of personal sustainable living and ethical business practices including: the purchase of Green Energy, greenhouse abatement of motor vehicle and other emissions through carbon offset/tree planting, maintenance of ethical business relationships, support of environmental and aid organisations, rainwater harvesting, greywater treatment & reuse, composting, recycling, reusing and reducing packaging, and reduction of landfill waste to the absolute minimum.
